Former High Commissioner to India, Milinda Moragoda presented the first copy of his book 'Ashoka Vadana,' a selection of articles from his Lankadeepa newspaper columns during his tenure in Delhi, to the Mahanayakes of the Malwatta, Asgiriya, and Ramanna Nikayas in Kandy recently.

The newspaper column, 'Ashoka Vandana', presented his experiences in India on subjects ranging from economics, science, society, and politics in the Sri Lankan context during his tenure in New Delhi.

A Tamil translation of the column was also carried concurrently in the Sunday Thinakaran. A Tamil version of the anthology will be soon published, Moragoda's office said.
