Who needs a Sri Lanka National Congress today

…The Ceylon National Congress is the forerunner of political parties in Sri Lanka… we need a Sri Lanka National Congress…truly of all the citizens… truly democratic. Moragoda has had two stints as Minister. One in the short-lived UNP Government... and at present in the UPFA Government... in both instances he portrayed these traits and rose above the parochial and narrow-minded outlook of the common... There is no reason to doubt that he will continue in the same vein and be equal to the task…

Milinda unveils new party for consensual politics

The Committee appointed by Minister of Justice... Moragoda to come up with reforms... presented its findings to the Minister recently... the committee has recommended that... candidates... possess a minimum of 2 credits at... Advanced Level Exam... and be below the age of 35 years... that exams be conducted by the Open University of Sri Lanka, and all subjects be revised to include the new developments in Law.... Law College lectures will be... in all 3 languages... progressively introducing more subjects only in English... students... given the choice to answer the examinations in any language…
