‘In Black and White’ was Milinda’s first television programme which ran for over four years. The programme was a series of one-on-one interviews of leading international and domestic figures in the worlds of politics, diplomacy, business, journalism, law, public affairs, and the arts. ‘In Black and White’ was the first Sri Lankan television talk show to be internationally broadcast. It was carried on Channel News Asia, a Singaporean network which is telecast in Asia and the Middle East. It also featured the first televised satellite interview, when Milinda interviewed from Sri Lanka the President of the World Bank who was in Washington.
