Photo: President Mahinda Rajapaksa met parents of Dinesh Tharanga and Danushka Udayakantha who died in a tragic accident in Angulana recently. The Police Department presented Rs.500,000 as compensation to each family at Temple Trees yesterday. The cheque was handed over by the President. Ministers Milinda Moragoda and Jeewan Kumaratunga, IGP Jayantha Wickramaratna and Western Province Councillor Duminda Silva were also present. |
