Justice Minister Milinda Moragoda is in the process of working out a plan to shift about 2,000 deserters held in various parts of the country to one prison. A spokesman for Moragoda said that the Minister had already discussed this issue with Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. He said that once President Mahinda Rajapaksa returned from an official visit to Egypt, a decision could be taken.
