Moragoda studies Colombo business, resident needs

CMC UPFA candidate Milinda Moragoda visited 15 neighbor hoods of Colombo North and he interacted with a variety of residents from all communities, including a fishing community in Mutuwalla.

He visited several community centres which were badly dilapidated and left abandoned. Some of these were only half finished and had never been completed.

The young people in the area were full of expectations. Moragoda explained to them his intention to develop the playing fields and to set up sports clubs that would help administer there grounds. He also explained that if these were refurbished, that they too would have to take part in looking after them, so that they could become stakeholders in their neighborhoods.
