"Sathiye Sithuwilla", a collection of articles written to the Sunday ‘Lankadeepa’ by Milinda Moragoda was launched in book form at the historical Matara Bodiya, last week (16).

The first copy of the book was handed over by Moragoda to the Chief Guest at the ceremony the Chief Incumbent of the Sri Rohana Sangha Sabhawa and the Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna, Aththudawe Siri Rahula Thero. The Chief Incumbent of the Anuradhapura Sri Sarananda Pirivena Neluwakande Gananandha commented that this publication gave an insight into the current economic and social situation in the country.

The 40 articles written over a period of 6 years on various subjects such as Democracy, Technology, the Responsibility of Parliament, Social Politeness, on an undivided Society, Open Economy, Privatization and Technology for farming.

In the foreword Venerable Dr. Ittapane Dhammalankara Thero says "Truth is not two things. Truth is truth. Our politicians are far from the truth and "Sathiye Sithuwilla" will help them to realize the truth and reality to move the country forward.".

Forewords have also been contributed by a former Secretary General, of Parliament Sam Wijesinghe, and the Editor of Lankadeepa, Siri Ranasinghe.

Representatives from all political parties, universities and Priests in Matara District and other important personalities were present on this occasion.
