WB Invites Milinda to Outline South Asia's Needs

The World Bank has invited Economic Reforms, Science and Technology Minister Milinda Moragoda to outline in Washington next week South Asia's needs and expectations of the multilateral donor agency. Minister Moragoda would be sharing his views with World Bank's South Asia Regional Management Team during their retreat in Washington beginning October 15. By talking about what South Asia expects of the World Bank and of their international supporters it is expected Minister Moragoda as one of Asia's new leaders to set the tone for the retreat. The theme of the retreat is to adapt World Bank's services more closely to the needs of the South Asian region.
