A new Social Service Programme for the benefit of the common people of Colombo East and West providing free advice and assistance called ‘Sahana Piyasa’ by the ‘Sanasilla’ Foundation proposed by Mr. Milinda Moragoda, MP has commenced.

The programme provides opportunities for the people to obtain legal advice, assistance in documentation work pertaining to services to be done with the State or Private Sector Institutions and particulars they may require in their day to day activities.

The programme also envisages to provide a comprehensive service to the problems related to the obtaining of Birth Certificates, Death Certificates and National Identity cards.

The free service under this programme commences form October 6, 2004 and will be functional every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at ‘Senasilla’ office No. 8/30, Siddhartha Place, Colombo 5.
