Minister and Government peace negotiator Milinda Moragoda has asked the LTTE to dismantle and remove a pandal put up at the entrance to Batticaloa town at Pillaradi junction with a wording “Welcome to the land of Heroes.”

During a tour of Batticaloa the Minister said that if the LTTE did not remove the pandal erected in a government controlled area, the police would be told to remove it within 48 hours.

Mr.Moragoda also met Bishop Kingsley Swamipillai to discuss various matters including alleged abduction of children.
