Jan 05, Colombo: Minister Milinda Moragoda, who is in Oslo, has held talks with Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Vidar Helgesen and Special Advisor Erik Solheim on the current state of the peace process.
The Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry said the meeting was part of routine consultations.
Earlier, the visiting Sri Lankan Minister met US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage when he visited the United States last week. At that meeting, Mr. Armitage warned the Sri Lankan government to resume the peace talks with the LTTE after resolving its own current political crisis.
