Former Member of Parliament Milinda Moragoda recently launched his first Sinhala book, “Perawadanak” which contains a series of his public speeches, articles to newspapers and interviews in the media.

The book gives tips and advices as well as plans which politicians and the society can take as foundation stones in the path towards development.

Revenues earned from sale of the book are to be utilized in the development process of the Colombo-East electorate regardless of the political concerns.

Mr. Moragoda, the grand son of the veteran banker N.U. Jayawardene, is the Chairman of the Mercantile Merchant Bank Ltd.

He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Development of Switzerland.

Milinda became a national list member of parliament for the United National Party (UNP).
