Photo: Measures are taken to maintain Baseline Road as a model, which was modernized from High Level Road till D. S. Senanayake roundabout at Borella. The intention behind this idea is to minimise accidents and to avoid road traffic by warning drivers and pedestrians to follow highway rules strictly. It was an idea of Milinda Moragoda, Minister for Economic Reform, Science and Technology.  In picture the Minister for Economic Reform, Science and Technology participating at a special discussion with regard to the project of introducing this area as a model area. Deputy Mayor of Colombo Mr. Asath Sally, Senior Police Superintendent Colombo South H.M.D. Herath, Project Director of Road Development Authority T.
